Achievements of the Department:

1. Introduced innovative methods in teaching. e.g. encouraging students to make classroom-presentation; use of aids such as TV/VCR/P.P.T./Internet

2. Organized seminars, symposia, conferences, workshop on various themes. e.g. certain modern discipline and insights were incorporated in seminar themes, such as stylistics, Semeiotics etc.
