National Service Scheme (NSS)

5) Developing Capacity to Meet Emerging And Natural Disaster. 

Structure of NSS:

1) Every year 150 volunteers actively participate in NSS.

2) In this SC-17%, ST-8% reservation is provided.

3) Volunteers having special interests are encouraged to participate.

4) A special NSS certificate is awarded to volunteers who have worked for 120 hours within these two years and has participated         in any one special camp.

5) To successfully carry out the NSS programs in college two officers are selected

Rural Development

The College organizes NSS special camp in some selected remote village where the volunteers involve in rural development activities by constructing road, digging trenches for percolation of water, planting trees, conduct literacy survey, conduct historical survey and promote awareness among the rural people on education, health, rights of women, girl child and scientific farming techniques
